what is third party business system? can SAP system on other side be tgirdparty system.

what is business partner system?

Hi Krishna,

Business System: Is a logical representation of a Technical system. Business System is nothing but Technical System plus Client. Business Systems entails the Technical System which further entails all the techical parameters that are required to connect to particular system like port, message server etc. Using Business System saves you time from inputing all techical details and client number each time you need XI to talk to them

Party: Party is used for B2B communications, it is generally dedicated for a particular company. You might give the party name as the company name with which your XI communcates.

Thanks for your responce .but i am talking about business partner business system.how business partner system differs from SAP and third party business systems.and one more thing in this system there is option called URL what is the use of thgis option....

hi,

Third party is nothing but otherthan sap or java we called it as third party because if it is sap system we use web as abap if it is java we use web as java becuase it can understand both the format other than this is third party.
