Could someone provide the basic information on visual administrator??? whts it used for?

Hi,

I have a problem when i try to connect.

The error is cannot open connection on host: 134.91.232.132 and port 50004.

Please help me to rectify my problem.Besides,how to find the host on my comp??

Hi Priyanka,

Yes it is installed with WAS server on the same machine where WAS installed.

You can access Visual admin through the folder inside where WAS server installed at following path:

usr\sap\<SYS ID>\jc<instance number>\j2ee\admin

Here you will find one Go.bat file. Execute this file to start Visual administrator.

Visual Admin is a tool to do the necessary manipulations on the services provided by J2EE engine .

It gets installed on the same system in which j2ee engine resides.You dont have to install it seperately
