How we add a field from another table to the existing Master data DS.

What you miss the code in Cmod. Write the code and activate the data source and then run RSA3.

I have written the code in CMOD, now i can see data for the particular (ADDED)field in RSA3..

i activated the data source and replicated it in BW... but still the datasource doesn't show me the new added field in BW? AM I missing anything?

Did you map this new field to an BW InfoObject in the transfer rules?

hi,

you will have to enhance the Master data DS.In rsa6 select the datasource and click Enhance Structure.

the new fields gets added into you datasource.

I have added the filed in rsa6 enhancement... i have un checked the HIDE field and i can see the new added field in RSA3 too.. but there is no data dispalyed for this new field.. when i check in RSA3 .? what might be the reason....do i have to write code in CMOD to pick the data?
