what role is needed in XI as well as in ECC to import Idocs in XI IR

Hello Experts,

Can you please confirm on exactly what roles need to be assigned to a user / developer on XI side as well as on ECC system to import an IDOC into XI repository?

Expecting the exact roles in reply rather than links to blogs or help.sap for all the roles in general used for XI.

Abhijit,

In order to import idoc / RFC's in SAP-XI IR, you need to check "Import RFC and IDOC interfaces from SAP systems permitted" for your Software component version.

Developer Role in ECC and XI would be enough for development. Ask basis team to assign developer role to your User ID.
