Change SAP Desktop view

Dear All,

I want to change the Desktop item (modified BMP file). Please can you send the step by step procedure for that?

I have ECC6 (R/3) system with SQL 2005.

Hi

Go to sm30 transaction and open SSM_CUST table with maintain option.

and check for the fields START_IMAGE (text - Name of Picture To Be Displayed on the Easy Access Screen (See Transaction SMWO)) and RESIZE_IMAGE (text - YES (default), NO - Automatic Size Adjustment of Picture on the Easy Access Screen). if the entries not found please add with "new entries" and fill the value for start_image as "ZSAPSTART"

Then goto smw0 transaction in that select "binary data for webrfc applications" and click the find icon or press "F8"

look for object name with "ZSAPSTART"

if not found create new Obj. Name with "ZSAPSTART" and give description, and then import the image file into that object.

If any mime errors then you have to greate mime entries in Setting -> Maintain MIME Entries. for following

Type Extension

image/bmp *.bmp

image/jpeg *.jpeg

image/jpg *.jpg

image/gif *.gif

if not add the entries useing create option

Then u login the Deskops will be changed.
