Looks like the problem lies with the Org Determinaton Rule. Chk out the rule which you have assigned to the Transaction, get into and if possible create a new rule and tryit out.
when you select BP classification as "Prospect" , the sales area data doesnot get created . Because as a prospect , the sales relationship is not yet started.
