can anyone explain me the process of enhancing standard infotype..
i want to add a new field in IT 2004..

You can do it in path Customization procedures-->screen modification and there u can select the screen number and go ahead.

Hi Ram,
To enhance the infotype, you have to use PM01. The path mentioned is only to do Screen Modification, not to enhance.
Enter your infotype in PM01 and click the button enhance, include your component and generate.

i think we need access key to modify standard IT... if im not wrong..
No access key required for enhancing the standard infotype.
Hello Ram, you dont need the access key, <a href="http://www.photographybykevin.net/ccount/click.php?id=4">here</a> is a nice scrpit about adding fields to standar ITs, although I think that you just can enhance PA infotypes.
