Who'll do the ALE cofiguration and settings

Hi Experts,

I am new to ALE IDOCs.I've a doubt in IDOCs.Who 'll do the ALE configuration and settings in realtime.

Hi rekha,

first of all u have to analyze from which system to which system u have to send the data.BASIS people will do creating logical systems and assigning client to logical systems and rfc destinations.

if u want to check go to trasaction codeS:

BD54 for creating logical systems and also u can see the existing logical systems.

SCC4 for assigning client to logical systems.

sm59 for rfc destinations

sm58 for transactional rfc.

after then which type of data u r transferring like master data or transactional data.

based on that check message type for ur application.

for this u go to tr code we81.

if master data we are having predefined programs for posting idocs.

BD10 FOR SEND material master.

BD11 FOR GET material master.

bd12 for send customer

bd13 for get customer

bd14 for send vendor

bd15 for get vendor.

upto creating and assigning logical systems; creating maintaining RFC destinations will be done by BASIS people and remaining by ABAPers.

Hi Rekha,

Assigning Logical system , sm59 RFC destinations will be done by basis people and other things wil be done by abapers
