Handling Units and QM

Hello,

I am new to Handling-Unit Management. According to what I understand, if either of the following 2 conditions happen to be true, stock under quality inspection will be considered to be a part of unrestricted stock by SAP.

Condition 1: - The storage location at which the materials are being received are HUM managed.

Condition 2: - HUM is enabled and active for the specified material at that particular plant for a particular inspection type.

Am I correct about this?

Condition 1: You are correct.

Condition 2: You are correct provided customisation require.
