Transport of characteristic values

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how the characteristic values are transported from one server to another.

Hi Balaji,

It is as similar to any other kind of tport only. When you are creating a characteristic itself, you will be providing the values for it. Now when you move the characteristics to antoher server, the values are also transported.

Thanks for your mail.

We create the characteristics and values against a change request. Do you mean that if we move the change request from the development server to the test server, will the values be moved to the test server.

One of my friend also told that we will be using ALE to transport the characteristics & values between the clients and server.

Can you please explain in detail?

Yes Balaji,

You dont need ALE. Just move the request from devpmt to test server. You will have the values in the test server.
