The two things I recommend are the following.
1. On service.sap.com/download. You can access the JDI install guide. It is under Netweaver 04 Development Environment Install guides.
2. Their are tutorials that guide you through the process of using the DTR. Follow this link and drill down into JDI. See the scenarios. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b0/ee3441d95dd92be10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
Hi Ruben,
There are three SDA files available as intallable of JDI. You need to deploy this SDA files on WAS using deploy tool.
Then there are no. of steps to be done for configuring JDI.
You can find these steps on the help.sap.com
