BI 7.0 On ECC 6.0 IDES

Hi,

I have installed BI Add-on component in ECC 6.0 IDES now which client will be source client and which we can consider as BI Client.Because in 800 client only i am able go to RSA1 tcode but there i cant able to active the source system please let me the solution

Not sure if you have resolved the problem..

Technically speaing you cannot have source and logical system the same..

Might be you can create a new client [900] and make that BW client and 800 as R/3 client.

RSA1 can be opened only in one client. Hence you need to change RSA1 to point to new client [900]

Hi Prakash,

Goto tcode se16. Open table "RSADMINA". Change the value of the table entry

"BWMANDT" to point to the BI client. Then rsa1 should open without any issues

in the particular client.

You need to take care of the following points:

- Maintain new RFC connection with <SID><client> [<client> is new BW client]

- Change the logical system for new BW client in T000 or tcode SCC4 with the new <SID><client>

- Enter this default client in the field BWMANDT of the table RSADMINA via transaction SE16.

Hi Prakash,

Create a new client and goto se37 and execute RS_MANDT_UNIQUE_SET to activate BI in new client.

Bi gets activated in new client than 800. You may need to change the logical sytem to new client if required.
