Workflow step - Add record to mask

Hi,

Is there a workflow step that can add a record to a mask? Any ideas on how we can achieve that?

Vito is correct. You can't add records to masks using MDM workflows.

However, you can add enrichment adapters to your workflows. These are essentially java programs and from there you can call JAVA api calls to add records to a mask. I haven't done this personally but this is just a thought you might want to check out.

this may be another solution, but a quite complex and I'm not sure that it works fine for your requirements. Besides, probabily enrichment is not in your MDM package because needs another license. In any case this solution required java customizing.

Hi Suman,

unfortunately MDM workflow (Visio) can't add a record to a mask or table. To add a record you need to use API Java, but you can't insert external java program into workflow, so you have the same problem.

I think there is no solution regarding workflow.
