Hi experts
I have some questions about SUS.
I am using SRM SERVER 5.5 and ECC 5.0.
The busisness requirement:
. Self-Service Procurement must generate POs and transfer to SUS and confirmations must be possoble
. Plan driven Procurement, external requirements must go to SRM from R/3, sorcing and POs are created and trasnfered to R/3 and Confrmations must be possible too.
. Global outline agreements must be created in SRM replicated to R/3 as schedule agreements .
Doubts
What's is the better scenario for it, if I use ECS and EBP-SUS I will have problems with confirmations.
If I use Classic scenarios external requirement is not possible.
Can I use ECS and only MM-SUS ?

Hi Nilson,
I have tried an answer your doubts:
Doubts

problems with confirmations.
Sundeep: According to your requirements explained, i think it would be good to choose ECS as your technical scenario.
If I use Classic scenarios external requirement is not possible.
Sundeep: I am not sure if the above statement is valid. I have seen implementation where we have done plan driven in confunction with Classic Scenario.
Can I use ECS and only MM-SUS ?
Sundeep: I think if you are doing an ECS, it doesnot make sense to do an MM-SUS. This will only make your process further complicated. Since in ECS, there is no editability for SRM PO's.
My suggestion would be to do an ECS and handle the confirmation process from EBP-SUS via enhancing the IDOC segments and other possible custom effort if possible. Also if youare talking about service procurement then there are further limitations that you would need to consider.
Hope this info helps !! Please let me know if you need further details. I can send you some docs if needed.
Pls assign points for usefull answers !
