Planned orders vs Purchase Requisitions.

Hi experts,

When we run MRP for a material that needs to be stock we run MD02 with the following parameters:

Processing key NETCH

Create purchase req. 1

Schedule lines 3

Create MRP list 1

Planning mode 1

Scheduling 1

We got a Purchase Requisition... that is what we want.

BUT

If we run program RMMRP000 with the same parameters than above with Planning day = Todays' date, we got a Planned Order

We do not want Planned orders but requisitions.

I put a check in the two user exits I found:

ZXM61U01 and 02, but the system does not stop there.

Can some one explain me the differences why I am getting planned orders?

Thank you.

Monica.

I found note 23922. Solved it.

MRP group was configured for Planned orders. Some materials had it in the material master.

Writting this in case someone needs it.

Hi Senthilkumar,

I did and still creates a Planned order instead of a requisition.
