Hi All,
My syndication server is behaving very strangely.
I am working on the std vendor repo in MDM 5.5 SP 5.
When I syndicate one vendor record as an xml file, in my ready folder i see too many duplicate vendor files.
and its a continuous process....the ready folder keeps getting these duplicate vendor record files.
My outbound port is defined as 'continuous'. If I make it 'hourly'...then i get an error and the console closes abruptly...
What can i do to just see only my syndicate file in the ready folder and not an ever growing list of duplicate syndicated files...
Also, my ready folder exists in the mds / distributions / outpbound / ready ...
Is this where i should be getting the files?
I have a similar folder in the mds / mdis / distributions / outbound / ready path but i dont see any files here....
Pls help!
Jyotika
Hi Jyotika ,
I hv not started working on SP05 but to stop continuous flow of records you can change syndicator map to supress unchanged records so that only when record is changed it will be syndicated out.

Hi Jo,
I could somewhat figure it out the issue... make sure the following thingsss.....in the order...
1. In your syndication mapping(open ur corresponding map) under the map properties tab <b>XML File Output</b> Should have the value <b>Single File(All records)</b>.
2. In the Port definition choose Manual instead of Automatic.
Hope this will fix your issues,,,
please feel free to revert to me for further clarifications...
thanks
Alexander
p.s.Kindly reward the points, if found problem solved.
