Re : Tax Condition record Error.

Hi,

I have the below requirement from the user.

Requirement:

The VAT rate is 12.24% for the validity dates 1Jan 1997 to 1 Jan 2005

The VAT rate is 16.24% for the validity dates 2 Jan 2005 to 31.12.9999

There is already first tax condition record in the system 12.24 % (Validity dates 1 Jan 1997 - 1 Jan 2005)

So when Am entering the second condition record(16.24 % rate) in VK11 and VK12, the following error message is displayed.

"TAX INDICATOR B2 HAS PERCENTAGE RATE 12.24 %"

<u>System is not allowing me to enter TAX condition records with two validity periods.</u>

Please Advise.

Thanks In Advance,

regards,

Deepak.

Enter the date 02.05.2005 in "valid on" and try to save it.

Give points if this works.

The tax code represents a tax category which must be taken into

consideration when making a tax return to the tax authorities.

Tax codes <b>are unique</b> per country. The tax rate calculation rules and

further features are stored in a table for each tax code.

I think you need to create a new tax code with the validity period below (i.e. B3 from Jan 2 to 31.12.9999
