Is transfer order is a standard SAP process.

Yes dear friend ..

Transfer order is standard SAP scenario..it is applicable when picking is not done manually.i.e. picking will be automatic eitehr with the help of lean warwehouse managemant or ware house management..In these case you can not create delivery without creatiion and confirmation of the transfer order.

Picking with Warehouse Management allows you to use the transfer order as the picking order.

This is possible in the following scenarios:

Lean-WM

Implementation of the basic functions of the Warehouse Management module (WM) in simply-structured warehouses without stock management at storage bin level

Implementation of all functions in the Warehouse Management module (WM)

The use of the WM transfer order as a picking order offers you the following advantages:

Determining of target data for transfer orders

Splitting transfer orders according to target data

Printing transfer orders or transmitting them in IDoc format

Determining actual data for picking with option of executing incentive wage calculations using the Human Resources (HR) module

Confirming transfer orders

Hi!

Transfer order is used if the company has implemented Warehouse management in their SAP.It is an instruction to move the material from source storage bin to destination storage bin.

The T code for Transfer order is LT03.

Hi,

transfer order is std. SAP process when it is linked with warehouse management.

It can be use e.g. after MIGO stock to be transfer and in SD after PGI you do LT03 for picking material from storage location.

Tranfer order is Standard Process in SAP.. This can be implemented in Companies having warehouse management concept..Tranfer order is nothing but picking the material from warehouse instead of stoarage location..
