on the header fields of the serviceorder the basic start and end dates are automatically updates on changes in the operations.but sometimes it doesn't update the dates while the tick for automatic is on ??

does anybody know how or why this happens and how to make sure it is always working ?

What happens is you can assign the basic start and end date by your self or through Priority at the starting of the order, when you give in the operations work duration, it will automatically change the scheduling start and finish times by it self not the basic start and end time...

yep but rarely the dates are not changed automatically but remain the same. it works perfectly in 99,9% of the cases but not in this case

I have found the problem. no time was filled in at the operation which causes the system not to calculate the date
