Urgent:How to create SAP sourse system

m working in Bi7.0n ECC6.0

There is no SAP sourse system defined, if i want to replicate datasouses , should 've SAP sourse sytem,but there is folderSAP, if right click , there is option create...

but i dont know what info do i need to pass it,

so guys pls help me by giving steps need to follow...

ask your basis guys they can create source system and rfc between bw and r/3.

if you are a basis guy just follow the links provided.

Hi,

U have to Cretae RFC Connection @ SM59 tcode in Source Sys(R/3 D ,Q , P) and also Cretae RFC Connection @ SM59 tcode in BW (BW Dev,Q,P)

and make a link like

R/3 D to BW D

R/3 Q to BW Q

R/3 P to BW P

Talk to ur Basis person to make RFC Connections Betwn R/3 and BW
