may be because of your browser cache or something.......

just delete cookies and the one next to cookines.....delete temporary files..

clear history.

start a new IE......open it up....and see your theme........

I hope you have assigned the theme to some desktop and desktop to user....

login again......it will help you ......

Cheers.....

Hi,

I assume you are logged in using admin user,i tried this approach,

i have created a test role, created a theme and done the changes as you said, created a desktop & copied default framework and assign this to test role, and my role is showing the changes made.

Are you assigning this changed theme to your admin user??have you changed the master rule collection?

hi mythili...

this seems strange.

I hop you have saved the theme to the desktop you created....or else I will give you a short cut to test your application.

goto system admin....portal display-desktop and display rules...themes...find out your theme

then goto folder

portal users

standard portal users

open default desktop add your theme there....

then

now slect your theme

click on set as default...

now save .....

log off and login....

you would see the changes....

but after all these......just put back the already one .....because changing default desktop is not good.....

will explanin how to create your own desktop.

but just to test the changes you made, try this for now....

Cheers.....

Hi,

Once you have changed the color and saved it,then you have to save entire theme again,it usually takes some time, but once done it has to show the effect.

I have tried on my portal and its working,

hi Mythili,

if you change the button bgcolor.......( I hope you did it in the right way-Buttons-Std bgcolor->options->selected your color...saved it......then again in the theme editor too you have saved)

then it should come.

Pls make sure you are saving it once after selecting the color and in the theme editor.

this will work.

(hope your aim is to change th color of the std buttons like create, go etc...)

Cheers.....

Hi,

I assume you have gone to component specific style -->Buttons

If you have changed the color here then it will be applicable to only BI 3.0, old BSP , portal admin tools & ITS.

Please change the color for standard as well as emphasized buttons if you are using both.Esle change accordingly

Now Save

It shows the change
