hi all
some of the ESS users getting when they check on the my messages or leves
"500 Internal Server Error -WEB Dynpro Container /SAP J2EE Engine"
can some one help me tko identify and resolve this issue..

This is not a specific error. It can often times be cleared up by simply refreshing. It could be that the portal was to slow to connect, it could be that the backend was too overwhelemd to connect, it could be several things. That's why I suggested having your BASIS folks look into it. In one case recently, ours was simply that the server was not tuned correctly and was "missing" connections. It might be something fairly simple for you.

It's usually going to be a connectivity error. Have your BASIS folks look into it. It could also be a timeout depending how long they are inactive...which again is a connectivity issue (ie. connection lost)
