campaign automation flow

hi,

for the campaign automation process, what steps are done by the technical/functional people and which steps can be done by the user themselves. I have already read through help.sap.com and i'm still unclear of the flow.

can anyone help explain to me?

Hi Noobie,

The technical team has to set up the SMTP server for sending the email. The Functional Consultant wud make the configs for the drop down values, etc in the Marketing Planner. All this is one-time activity.

The user wud create the Campaign, attach the Target Group, Release the Campaign & finally execute the Campaign (Target Group to Channel).

Hi Geek,

Campaign automation is where as functional to set the flow of campaign

process so that it can run in automatic depends on user's interaction.

So user, most likely if you talking about customer, they will just respond to

each campaign automation step send to them. For example on one of the

campaign process send the survey for customer to respond and then

from the respond the campaign automation will then continue to next

step depends on the customer response on the survey.
