what is the use of where-used list option in Data type(IR)

I want to know what is the use of where-used list option in Data type(IR)?

In give some circumstance where we will be using this option ?

Ruban,

If you check Where-used list then it will give the objects of Messages types or Data type enhancements and also Mapping templates, where data type of the selected object has been used.

Hey

as the name suggests it tells you where all you have used that data type,a lot of times we use the same data type in creating of several different main data types,so where used list will provide you with all the information where that data type has been used.
