SAP GUI 'sapdp00' timed out error

When I try to connect through sapgui640 I get the following error:

Connection to host "IP" Service 'sapdp00' timed out

Method: NiPConnect

Return code: -12

Counter: 1

I test the service file sapdp00 - 3200/tcp is there, also checked the registry the type of the Registry Entry "DataBasePath". %SystemRoot% is only having this type REG_EXPAND_SZ. not like this REG_SZ

Eventhough, I tried by changing the DataBasePath value from %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc to c:\windows\system32\etc getting the same error.

Could anyone help me on this issue
