Can somebody explain APO-VMI Vs R/3 VMI ................advantages/Disadvantage.............Restrictions in APO or R/3 For VMI........................method difference for implementation APO/R3..............Cost impact................project schedule time via APO or R/3.................etc..................waiting for reply.............

I got the process over view... I am looking for the respective pros & cons of implemention VMI with R/3 only as compared to implementing coupled with SAP APO .

Did u ever get an answer for this ? ECC supports VMI via consignment inventory.

I am looking for the right system to implement VMI ...with consideration to our maturity & ease of use . I will appreciate if some can please enligten me on the Pros & Cons in APO & only R/3 for the same .
