At period end When WIP is generated and when settlement is run.
WIP a/c (Balance sheet a/c) Dr. XXX
WIP Reserve (P&L) a/c XXX
After complete delivery of the production order this entry gets reversed. Subsequent months this entry gets reversed and and the new value of WIP, calculated is entered.
Hi,
Sridhar is corect when you have one production order for all the processes and all the process ae controlled through opertaions in routing
if for every process you have separate prodcution order then you have to the GR ( movment type 101 ) for every production order and issue the good to new prodution order ( mov type 261) and in case of HALB ( semi finished goods)
system passes the semifinished output goos account CR
Semi finished goods stock acount DR
and when issue the same goos to next prodcution order then system will pass the reverse way...
Hope it is clear
Cheers
PK
