MICR line not getting printed on check

I have a question to get clarified . Our client uses two printer HP and Xerox to print check with MICR. both the printer works fine with box 1 .recently they had another working box 2 and only HP printer works good and Xerox print MICR line is blank .

When anlaysed BOX 2 they have same short name for both device type . Both device type has name as HP. Do you think it is because of this that MICR is not printing in the printer ?

It will be printer issue since it is printing one printer and not printing other printer.

Check with printer related transaction like SPAD..
