Routing - Activity types.

Hello Friends

Is it possible that we have production orders with more activity types on them than that defined in the routing? . does anyone know how this would happen.......?

Dear,

The maximum six activity types can be defined using standard value key per workcenter. Suppose if u have different workcenter u can e use different activity type through another standard value key.

The only way to accomodate more than 6 activity type is to incorporate one more workcentre and define a Standard value Key with those another set of 6 activity types..

Dear Shiv,

You cannot have more than 6 activity types in Production order. You cannot have more than activity types what you defined in routing.

In case if you want to have then you need to introduce a new dummy operation with work centre having only costing relevance control key and assign 6 more activity types. Like this any no of activity type can be used, but for a operation you cannot have more than 5 activity types.

Hi,

As per the standard we can allocate six parameters to the standard value key.

To add more in the key you can do as follows,

Create the parameters using t.code op17.

Then create another standard value key using t.code op19.

Assign these parameters in the formula, using t.code op21.

Then create another workcenter & add the new standard value key.

In you routing add this workcenter next to the operation you need to have more than 6 parameters. In this method you can have additional 6 parameters.

You can create dummy work center with extra activity types .

Use the dummy operation and use the dummy work center with extra activity types in production order
