Ravik,

Your question is unclear.

If you want to test inbound IDOCs, go to transaction WE19.

If you want to test outbound IDOCs, please refer to the system you are sending them to. It depends how your are sending the IDOCs the the remote system.

I have to work in upgrade project with edi/idocs messages. Pls give me suggestions and document relevent above .so that i can understand what aspects i need do .....what kind of problems i have to face in that work

You will have to:

Choose IDOC structures (create new if needed)

Choose output types

Create output condition records (VV11, VV21, VV31)

Define Partner Profile (WE20)

Define RFC Connections (SM59)

Maintain partner lookup tables (VOE2, VOE4)

And other tasks.

Go to transaction WEDI for most of the EDI related tasks. This is a good menu of many of the needed SAP t-codes. You can find help on all of the above topics by searching the forums.
