Activating Update rules and Infoproviders

Hi

I'm trying to activate a Multiprovider and an update rule in the test environment.

I'm using program RSAU_UPDR_REACTIVATE_ALL

However, this program is not activating the update rule.

I get the message "Display only. Cross customizing is not possible".

Why is it that I can I can update transfer rules and infoproviders using the relevant programs, but am getting this message only for the update rule?

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi

U cannot make any activations in the testing system apart from replication of DS and Infosource Activation.

Make a request from the development system for teh objects which are in inactive state in the development system and transport that request to the testing system.

and one more thing if the infosource is in inactive state u cant activate it but u can jst use the progm rs_transtru_activate_all in se38 to reactivate it.

so make a fresh transport request for the Multiprovider and the update rules and release them.

hi,

I think ur system is not allowing u to run that.. ask ur basis folks to open the system for customizing @ SCC4 t-code
