Hi All,
I want to learn the alert configuration in Xi . I have configured the alert from alertcatdef and RWB and now i can see my alert from my alert inbox . But i want to create alrt for run time scenario ....... like msgmapping .... How can i do that?
Pls Help me...........Pls send the step by step scenario........

Hi All,
your link r very useful ,but my problem is i can't trigger the alert .In my scenario input is a string........ if the input string is more than 8 character i have to generate an alert . I have used message mapping for this scenario........i have also written the necessary UDF for this mapping ....... but if the input string is more than 8 character then how can generate the alert ? can i generate it from my udf?if yes then what is the procedure ?
and my second qs is how can i connect my mapping error with the alert inbox.........
I konow how to create alert from alertcatdef and RWB .
Pls help me............
