Hi forum,
I m quite new to XI administration, can the forum provide me with a list of checks
that is needed to ensure that all the components of XI are healthy,
for example ... checking all ports(Http, SMTP, etc), all RFC destinations, etc,
and cases when the java stack is down and Integration Builder is not accessible(hence SLD and RWB is not accessible),
thanks
Hi ,
Please find the link for post instalation of XI.
Please doublechek that you copleted your install of XI 2004s as follows:
1) Installation steps according to the Guide: SAP NetWeaver 2004s
ABAP+Java on Windoes : MSSQL for PI installation
2) Configuration : Go to the following:
http://service.sap.com/instguidesNW2004s -> Installation -> Technology
Consultant's Guide. -> Enabling Application-to-Application Processes ->
Application-to-Application Integration -> Configuration of Usage Type
Process Integration (PI) -> Template-Based Basic Configuration.
You can use either the Template-Based Basic Configuration to carry
out the configuration steps OR you can do the configuration steps
manually:
Please see the following link regarding this:
com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/61/6e8c42c398173be10000000a155106/frameset.htm
3)For the central SLD, further manual steps are required.
For more information, see SAP Note 939592.
4)If you want to use an Integration Server client other than 001
further manual steps are required. For more information, see SAP Note
940309.

HI, As far as I know, For ports/ Servicies like HTTP or SMTP can be checked by SMICM transaction. where you can find the list of servicies active, if not click on Goto->servicies tab.
You can check your Integration Engine URL and check whether XI service has been exposed or not by clicking on SICF trasaction.
