suggestions required regarding session management in webdynpro

Hi All,

1) I have a requirement of maintaining the details of the current user so that the relevant data can be passed across various components. I posted questions regarding the same earlier also in the forum .Following are my findings:

- We can use either wdScopeUtil (only string) or context to pass data across applications

Which one is better approach and why?

Do I have any other alternative to solve the above?

2) Also, I need to track the duration for which the user was logged on. How do I go for this?

How do I track the logoff time? what if the user simply closes the browser window?

All useful inputs would be highly appreciated.

That's my earlier post only!! Iwanted a suggestion on which is abetter approach and why? and also how do i capture the logoff time or window close time?
