i am having very less konwledge about this topic and i want a responce from the presentaion point of view.
it's urgent.
thank u.
swapnil.
Hi Swapnil,
This seems a bit abstract question. I dont know if I will be able to do justice with MDM Console by answering this in 2-3 lines. But anyways,
MDM Console
1. Is kind of administrative tool for SAP MDM.
2. You can work on Respository structure through the same, I mean you can create MDM Repository, Change the schema, other structure level manipulation.
3. Other administrative task would involve, Arhiving repository ( backup ), Unarchiving, create slave repository ( mirror ).
4. User Administration, Session administration, Remote Systems administration etc.
There is lot more to Console than this 4 points. You can get materials from http://service.sap.com/mdm
Hope this helps you.

Mausam

Hi Swapnil,
In simple terms as per your presentation. MDM console does :-
1. Explain the different table types.
2. Explain the integration of the various tables into the process.
3. User names and passwords:-
You must set user names (sometimes referred to as user IDs) and passwords for (MDM) and its components during installation and configuration. This topic describes various user names, when and how they are set, and when they are used. The user name must be registered with the operating system

Hi Swapnil,
All the MDM Components are working on the MDM Server.
MDM server is connected to the Console. Console is the component which does all the administrative activities.Activities are Create/Copy/Delete/Duplicate Repository, Create/Delete/Modify User and their right...etc.
Only in Console ,we can see all servers and Repositories.
We can mount and up the Server/Repository (Start the server).
We can create different types tables and Relationships b/w the tables.
Coming to the Other Components(Import manager,Data Manager,Syndicator,Indexer,Publisher..)
Once you connected the repository ,these components will open.
For this we should have up and run server/Repository in the console.
I hope it helps to understand how MDM works.
Best Regards
