How do i get the link for a particular thread in sdn, it always shows https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/forums on top for all threads.

The other option, Right click on particular thread and select <b>"Open In New Window"</b> . If you see in the URL it will be specific to the particular thread.
