Hi All,
I would like to know if its possible to display the multiple iviews( which holds info graphically) in a single window in visual composer.
Actually I am trying to get the similar look as we see in BI system's- Management Cockpit - where all the related information is displayed in 4-5 tables (or graphs)
chk this link( name : cockpit) for the display type :

Is it possible in Visual composer .. or shall i try it out at the Portal end itself ?
Appreciate your valuable inputs ...
Regards,
NR
Hi NR,
Actually I am trying to get the similar look as we see in BI system's- Management Cockpit - where all the related information is displayed in 4-5 tables (or graphs)
u can do it in VC.
As u mentioned all are interrelated ...that too we can do.
--in VC we can link each graph..and we can relate a table and graph also i.e if u select a row in a table ...the graph will show that row result .
--we can design the iview as mentioned by others.
if any queries ,let us know.
regards,
prasad

Hi NR
I think you could possibly split each graph into different tab,i mean say one iView /nested iView with 4-5 tabs each containing a graph to display. Thus the Cockpit screen in the link could be modelled in the best way.
The design board will look like this:-

Revert incase of doubt.

Hi Navneet,
Your input was informative but in the statement "split each graph into different tabs" - I would like to explain one thing here.
Each graph is generated from different BI Queries ( which aren't inter-related ) , so will I be able to Inter-relate different iviews ("say " in one model ) ?
How will i be able to get the different tabs , each, with its own graphs; of a single modelled application in Portal ?

Hi NR
u will get layers from compose , we are using layers to hide/view some group of components in story board.
we can use different queries in each layer.
Try the following steps:
1)Change the Navigation control field of your main iView to value Tab strip.
2)Drag a layer onto your storyboard and drag your components in the the layer.
3)Now when you will see Layout tab of your storyboard, you will see the tab title but you will not be able to see the title of the individual components in your tab.
4)Go back to the Design tab.
5)Select each of your components one by one, and change the Frame style property of each component to value Primary frame. It is set to Default by default.
6)Now see your Design tab, you will be able to see the title of each of your components inside your tab.
for linking two iviews go through following links
