Hi,
is there a method for unpacking massively support packages located in a directory
with SAPCAR.exe?
Yours truly
Hi
For UNIX only.
1) Add all the names of all support packages in a text file and copy all SP to a folder
2) Write a shell script to read each SP from the file and perform SAPCAR function
Lets say you have written names of all SP in file "/tmp/SP_files"
sh
cd /usr/sap/trans
for i in `cat /tmp/SP_files`
do
SAPCAR -xvf $i
done

Hi,
Create a batch file or a shell script in this way and run the script.
SAPCAR -xvf <Source file1 full path> -R /usr/sap/trans
SAPCAR -xvf <Source file2 full path> -R /usr/sap/trans
SAPCAR -xvf <Source file3 full path> -R /usr/sap/trans
SAPCAR -xvf <Source file4 full path> -R /usr/sap/trans
SAPCAR -xvf <Source file5 full path> -R /usr/sap/trans
