How many Line_Items in an InfoCube??

Hello BW Experts!!

How many Line-Item Dimensions can be built for an InfoCube??

It should be value between 1-13 (excluding U,T,P Dimensions).

Plz let me know the number and why??

As others have mentioned, the lucky number is 13.

In fact, if you create an aggregate with 13 chars (+1 for time), the BW will create what is known as a flat aggregate - automatically putting each char into it's own line item dimension. This can really help query performance.

Not knowing the answer I would say 13.

Why - because that is the limit and there is no reason why line-item dimensions can't use all of it (none that I can think of).

The maximum no of dimensions ofr a cube is 13 and this answers your question.

One thing you must note is when you mark a char as a line item dimension, you cant add any other char to the same dimension.
