material views

Hi all,

I wana add some more material views to the material that i have already created and change it. Material type is FERT. I tried OMS2, i could not select more views there. I also tried MM50, but stil could not find solution.

Please tell me wat can be done?

hi

goto MM50 and enter u r material

maintenance status select the fields from and to and give all the details

in selection logic select OR operation and in the screen select the view required and maintain

Hi Prashant

That's because the views do not exist for that material yet - you need to create them. Use transaction MM01 (create material) and select the new views you want to create. Then save, and all will be updated for that material.

OMS2 is the right place to do this. Double click on FERT and then highlight the "user departments" you require to see as views for that material type.

HI Jon, Thx 4 that. But I already done that. I did the same that you told me. But the views that i add in OMS2, do not reflect when i try to change the material. I dont know why.
