condition type - PREF in pricing

what is PREF condition type. explain

When we assign a value to this condition record, and also we have a pricing record for material how does this PREF affect the sales order. Is it for statistical purpose or if the value in PREF is more or less than PR00 will it affect the sales order in any way.

This is a condition type used for different functions in pricing for example , the condition type lets you to differnetiate between differeent kinds of discount in output determination, between different output types such as order confirmation or delivery notre , in batch determination, between different strategy types

The Condition type PREF - Preference.

We Use this for some cases for Preference Price.

This depends up the client Requirement how you are going to use this it can be Statical or Mandatory.

As the the client requirement it will work as how you config this in your pricing Procedure.
