hello,

"marketing element"

Generic term used to denote all planning elements in Marketing and

Campaign Planning, namely:

o Marketing plans

o Marketing plan elements

o Campaigns

o Campaign elements

Use

The marketing plan is used as an organizational tool in marketing planning for the top-down planning of budgets and targets. You can use any number of marketing plan elements to structure a marketing plan in the form of a hierarchy. Campaigns are used for operative marketing planning and execution. Campaigns are specified by campaign elements.

You can specify marketing plans by other marketing plans or campaigns. You may only assign campaigns to a campaign. You cannot assign marketing plans.

You can assign marketing segments and documents to a marketing plan and a campaign.

You can assign additional products, product catalogs or product catalog variants to a campaign.

Campaign elements can be created within the process modeling area or beforehand in the Marketing Planner. If they are created before you call up the process modeling area, they will appear in a worklist. You can then include them in the campaign process using Drag&Drop.

It contains the following attributes

· Date for which the campaign step is scheduled. This can be a fixed date. If no date has been maintained or this date has already passed, this step is executed immediately once the start conditions have been met.

· Communication medium (for example, email, letter, fax or visit)

· Documents, (for example, mail templates, scripts)

· Assigned marketing segments such as target groups or profiles. You can also create an empty target group directly from the campaign automation interface. This acts as a container to collect all the business partners that have responded in a defined way to the preceding campaign element.

· Person responsible for a campaign

· Texts

hi. satish. could u elaborate ur question.?

marketing elements are used only for planning ur marketing strategies whereas campaign elements are operative, they contain surveys, mails etc that have to be sent to specific target groups via predefined channels.

both the target grps and channels r defined in the campaign element.
