Hi

All this AT NEW, AT FIRST, AT END OF and AT LAST are called control break statements of Internal tables and are used to calculate the TOTALS based on sertain key fields in that internal table

FIrst to use these statements the ITAB has to be sorted by the key fields on whcih you need the SUM of the fields.

Some time you will get * when mopving data from this int table to other table using these commands

so you have to use

READ TABLE ITAB INDEX SY-TABIX in AT..ENDAT..if you are using other fields between them

This is one example of at new and at end of.

at new matnr will give data only for new material number.

at new matnr.

WRITE:/ wa_MAT_REC-MATNR, DES, TYP ,

UOM.

endat.

at new werks is for each new plant of the new material number.

at new werks.

write:/ wa_MAT_REC-WERKS.

endat.

write:/ wa_MAT_REC-LGORT, wa_mat_rec-labst.

at end of plant stock will be added for that plant's storage location and will get total for that plant.

at end of werks.

sum.

write:/15 'Plant total ' ,wa_mat_rec-labst.

endat.

at end of matnr will give at end of material number stock available for that material in various plants.

at end of MATNR.

sum.

WRITE:/15 'Material Total' ,wa_MAT_REC-LABST.
