MS SQL 2005 backup to remote disk

Hi,

We are able to do local backup for our SAP Systems on SQL 2005 databse via DB13 but there are no options to create backup device for remote disk via the SQL server studio.

Can anyone shed some light into how to backup SQL 2005 databases over the network?

Hi Graham,

You can create a backup device using MSSQL Enterprise Manager by just specifying the network location using the UNC,
