import and export all options are not getting

Hi Experts,

I am working in Newtweaver Developer Studio Version 7.0.09.I am facing problem that

when i am exporting or importing in the webdynpro explorer i am not getting all options.in importing i am getting the two

options Development Components and Multiple Existing Projects into workspace. And in Exporting i am getting as JARFile

adn javadoc.

I want all the options to be dispalyed there at import and export.I alredy remove the Netweaver Developer Studio and re installed it.Then also

i am facing the same problem.Please guide me to do this.

Hi Bhavani,

1. Go to file----->import then select--> file system

2. then choose from directory select box ur source file(what u want import )

3. then select destination folder in into folder(choose the location! which location u want )

4. select the option for selected folders only

5. then click finish

finally u will import the application

the same process applied for Export into the file.

In File----> import only 2 options are there ."FIle System" option is not available.

the option which i am seeing are,

1) Development Components

2)Multiple Exixting Components in Workplace

i think now u can understand the problem with NWDS IMPort,

give me a suggestion to solve this

i have the same problem with my NWDS.it only showing 2 options in IMPORT . i followed all the above steps but didn't get any solution can u please suggest me hoe to resolve this.

Hi,

It may be problem in your NWDS,try the following steps may be it works.....

First Close your NWDS.

1) Go to NWDS installation directory, take a backup of your projects from the workspace and delete the .metadata folder from the workspace.

2) Then open the NDS, a new .metadata folder will be created and now you can try opening the NWDS,it will work fine.

3)Sometimes when your metadata of the NWDS is corrupted then your NWDS will not function properly.

Hi Bhavani,

The Export and Import is eclipse functionality.

Click on File->Import

Check what entries you get there.

Also Check File->Export.

These options are eclipse specific and will not vary.

Dear Ashwani,

I alredy wrote that i am not getting all options like ETZfile,Existing Project in to worksapace,FileSystem,PAR File...etc in Import andETZ file,PAR file,Zip file in Exports.Which settings to do to get these all option again.
