Hello friends
I have the characteristic 0CALDAY in my BW query which I am using as a data service in my model. The problem is that the dates appear as 20070213 (yyyymmdd) . How can I make them display in the format 02/13/2007 (mm/dd/yyyy).
Please help
Thanks
Hi,
Try to use DVAL(str) function.
or
mid("yyyymmdd",5,2) & "/" & right("yyyymmdd",2) & "/" & left("yyyymmdd",4)

Hi,
you could also convert the date via formula to mm/dd/yyyy by using a field of the data type string or expression box. A formula like:
Right(Left(@value,6),2) & "/" & Right(@value,2) & "/" & Left(@value, 4)
