Mass Change for S/O Pricing Date

Hello Gurus!

I have about 30 sales orders written in July with a Pricing Date also in July. Now it is August and time to invoice the customer. All materials have new increased prices input into VK11 with effective date of August 1. How can I -- with one stroke -- change the Pricing Dates in the 30 orders from July to August? After I change the Pricing Date, then it will be my intention to run VA05 > Edit > Mass Change > New Pricing so all prices will be updated.

I tried looking at TCode MASS but it doesn't seem to change my Pricing Date (even after I make all the obvious selections).

Hi James,

You can also use the CATT for mass updation.

Hi NP:

True but running CATTs in Production earns me dirty looks from all kinds of people. Looking for a non-CATT functional solution here. Thanks for your answer.

Dear James

go to VOV8, enter the sales order type you are using

There is field

Prop.f.pricing date:

Proposal based on today's date

A Proposal based on requested dlv.date (header)

B Proposal based on valid-from date (header)

C Proposal based on contract start (header/item)

Now from here find out where your pricing date is coming from and try to change that date or else change this field in Customizing of sales document
