1. what is the functionality of XI TOOLS, i.e., SLD, Integration Repository, Intergration Dictionary, Monitoring?

2. Could anybody brief about functionality of these tools and about the parameters included seperatly?

Hello Murali,

<b>System landscape Directory</b> , is the central information repository in your landscape,It contains information about technical systems, landscapes, business systems, products, and software components in your system landscape.

<b>In the Integration Repository,</b> we can define the messages and interface for an integration scenario separately for the outbound and inbound components.

Mapping programs are then created to transform messages as they are

processed.

<i>Its not Intergration Dictionary</i>

<b>Its Integration Directory :</b> The Goal of the Integration Directory is for the Customer to configure the Sender-Receiver relationships which will be used at runtime.

<b>Monitoring :</b> The Runtime Workbench is a tool for monitoring the XI,and all of its component ,process and messages ,centrally through a java-based interface.
