Hi,
Is there an easy way of testing connectivity between an SAP and XI environment? (after going through the setup in the SLD etc).
Thanks.
Hi II,
You can try importing RFC/IDOC. In the Design, right click on the Imported object, and click import SAP Objects. Specify the necessary parameters. If the connectivity is there then you can see RFC's present in the SAP.
Like this you can test your connectivity.

Hi II,
You can test the connectivity by using transaction SLDCHECK. Only two RFC connections are tested during the SLDCHECK, that is SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC. The
remaining RFC connections can be tested via transaction SM59.
Hope this will be helpful.

Hi
Use the transaction code sm59 and create a RFC Destination. The steps are as follows
1) Give name to ur RFC Connection.
2)Connection Type will be R/3 Connection
3)Target Host field will be your XI server
4)All the other fields are dependent on the target host
5)Give Logon data also i.e username(e.g XISUPER) and password
6)Then save this
7)Now select ur RFC destination frm the list and click Test Connection
If there is no error then connection is correct.
Hope it helps
