Hi all,
what is a baseline package?
Best regards
Hi,
Baseline is a preconfiguration done by SAP for the specific Industry. Normally in a conventional Implementation, based on customer requirements, configuration will be done by Functional Consultants. wherein the case of baseline package, SAP or SAP Partner will have an good idea about the specific industry, so they will preconfigure the business flows. while installing SAP, the preconfiguration will be copied down in the name of BASELINE package. there is no neccessity to configure it again. In Simple it is Ready-To-Run SAP
With Wishes
Jai

Hi,
this means just having a partially customized system?
Is possible in a baseline package including master data (material master, vendor master and so on) so that at the end of the installation of the baseline package will be possible running a demo system?
A baseline package also include master data?
Best regards
